Description: Carol Marconi is the wife of Judge Dante Marconi, and the mother of Nero Marconi. She was a witness for the firm that Dante worked for, and shortly after the trial, he began dating her. She loves him very much, but worries that his job is taking a toll on him. She loves living in Shadow Valley. She raised her son there, and hopes her son will raise his own children there some day.

Description: Nero Marconi is the only son of Dante and Carol Marconi. He's a bright boy who wants to follow in his father's footsteps. He's recently started college and plans to go to law school. He's a bit of a hothead, which he's worried will hurt him in law school. Though he has a temper, he usually keeps it in check pretty well. He's quick to make both friends and enemies. He trusts his father with his life.
